Welcome to HealthITPrep. These terms govern your use of the site and its services. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are and what we offer

HealthITPrep is operated by Adel Moustafa, an individual. It is an online training platform for preparing for the CPHIMS exam, with an English question bank and explanations, exam simulations, acronym cards, and progress statistics.

The site is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by HIMSS. CPHIMS is a registered trademark of HIMSS, and the name is used only to describe the exam the site helps you prepare for.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• Give accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• An account is personal and for one person only; it may not be shared, sold, or used by several people.
• An account can be used on a limited number of devices at the same time; signing in on a new device signs out the oldest one.

3. Free tier and membership

• The free tier gives access to a limited set of questions and cards, with no payment method required.
• Membership is a one-time payment that unlocks all content for 365 days from activation, with no automatic renewal. If you pay before your membership ends, the new period is added to the end of the current one.
• The prices shown on the subscription page at the time of payment apply. Prices may change in the future without affecting a membership already paid for.
• Manual transfers (such as InstaPay and Vodafone Cash) are activated after we review the proof of transfer and confirm the amount was received.
• Card purchases are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all such orders and handles payment, invoicing, taxes, and related refund requests.

4. Acceptable use

The content is for your personal study. You may not:

• Copy, publish, sell, or distribute the questions or explanations, in whole or in part, by any means.
• Use automated tools to scrape content, or try to bypass the site's technical or security limits.
• Use the site in a way that harms it or its users, or that breaks the law.

To protect the content, there are daily limits on the new questions, explanations, and acronyms that can be opened, and a limit on requests per minute; we may change them. They are enough for normal study.

We may suspend an account temporarily when unusual use suggests copying content or sharing the account, and suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. After a serious breach (such as account sharing or copying content), the amount paid is not refunded.

5. Intellectual property

All site content, including questions, explanations, design, and software, is owned by or licensed to Adel Moustafa and is protected by intellectual property laws. Membership gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own study during your membership.

6. Nature of the content and disclaimer

• The content is educational exam preparation. It is not medical, legal, or financial advice, and it does not replace the official exam resources.
• We work to keep the information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors. You can report any error with the "Report an error" link on each question.
• We do not guarantee that you will pass the exam; the result depends on many factors outside our control.
• We aim to keep the site available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the site. In any case, our total liability does not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. This clause does not limit any rights that cannot be waived by law.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account by email. We may end or change the service; if we shut it down permanently before a paid membership ends, we refund the unused part in proportion to the time remaining.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the "Last updated" date above. For material changes we will notify you on the site or by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without affecting any rights that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be waived.
